#79: IRt/c's withstand 1000g shock

With simple “O-ring” mechanical supports, IRt/c’s can withstand up to 1000g shock without damage, and without shift in calibration. Such robustness makes them well suited to heavy duty applications where high levels of shock and vibration are common.

More modest forces of 10 g can be withstood on a continuous basis, but fatigue of the cable can be a problem. Mechanical support, coiling, or other appropriate cable management is recommended.
